NSW Disability Advocacy Review

Last published on 09 Sep 2019 in News

The NSW Ageing and Disability Commission is conducting a review to better understand the purpose, functions and future needs of disability advocacy across the state.

What's this about?

The review will explore the purpose, functions and funding arrangements for independent specialist advocacy, including information and representative organisations for people with disability across NSW.

The review will also look at how advocacy funding and services are delivered, and make recommendations for the future.

The NSW Ageing and Disability Commission has released an issues paper and invites feedback from people with a disability, their families, disability advocates and representative organisations.
