The collaboratives established by EAHRU, now called the Ageing and Disability Abuse Helpline, are a great source of education and training relating to better understanding, preventing and responding to elder abuse. The Commission recognises the significant role the collaboratives play, and is currently working on plans to ensure these well-established groups continue and grow in order to help educate communities on the prevention and protection of both older people and adults with disability from abuse, neglect and exploitation.

This guide can help if you are interested in setting up a new collaborative.
